GR Marcy large pyrite stoneware pitcher

Large baluster-shaped iron-speckled stoneware pitcher, made in France around 1960 by Guy Roland Marcy (born in 1925). The iron-speckled stoneware surface offers a distinctive texture, with deep, dark mineral highlights, typical of postwar French ceramics.

Height: 28.5 cm — Neck diameter: 12 cm.

Signed in relief on the underside of the base: « GRM ».
