Antique cut crystal sweet dish with flat ribs, 19th century Baccarat Saint-Louis

Old sugar bowl, crystal candy box with flat ribbing.

The bowl is truncated cone-shaped, resting on a round base and a short knobbed foot.

The lid has a faceted knob handle.

This model appeared in the joint catalog of Baccarat and Saint-Louis crystal works in 1840. Ours is probably of a slightly later manufacture.

Height: 20.5 cm. Bowl rim diameter: 14.4 cm.

Very good condition, clear crystal, some light fine scratches from normal use.
