Maison Augis.

Old modernist brooch in the shape of a rectangle in solid silver.

Decorated with a series of geometric motifs and spirals.

The slightly notched border.

Signature engraved on the back: "A. AUGIS"  and "13 July 1941"

The date on the back allows this brooch to be precisely dated to the Occupation.

Goldsmith’s hallmark, "Silver" hallmark, and Crab hallmark (Silver 800/1000).

Pin fastening on the back.
