18th-century hunting dagger or antique hunting knife.

The bone handle is crowned by a brass pommel worked in the shape of a tiger's head.

The brass crossguard also features an openwork rocaille-inspired guard and counter-curved quillons.

The tapered, hollow-ground blade features rich engraved decoration depicting a wild boar, a stag, as well as ornamental motifs, with an arrow engraved on the back.

Total length: 65.3 cm. Blade length: 52 cm.

Good condition with signs of use, oxidation, and wear to the blade.

The grip turns very slightly.
