Montereau 19th. antique ceramic covered pot with pearl decoration

Antique lidded pot on a fixed stand from the Montereau factory.

The first letters of "Montereau" are faintly visible in relief under the base.

Hexagonal shape. The edges of the stand are adorned with a row of pearls.

The lid is decorated with a floral finial.

Pot dimensions: 11 x 11 cm. Total height with lid: 12.5 cm.

Stand dimensions: 20 x 20 cm.

Good condition for this antique serving piece. Note a fine hairline crack on the edge of the stand. A slight, normal discoloration inside the pot, which held creams and sauces. And a small chip on the inner rim of the lid, as well as fine star-shaped hairline cracks.
