Antique ciborium in solid silver and vermeil.
Sacred cup intended to hold the Hosts during the Eucharistic Celebration.
The domed lid in plain vermeil decorated with a row of beading on the rim and a finial Cross.
The cup in plain vermeil, also on the inside.
The baluster-shaped stem chased with leaf decoration.
The round base chased and stamped with foliage, a row of beading on the lower edge.
The chalice is assembled from 3 pieces and bears several hallmarks, notably "le coq" in an oval for the departments and the Minerve 1er titre on the base.
Silversmith's mark illegible.
Total height: 20.5 cm. Total weight: 268 g.
Good condition, some slight wear to the vermeil and a few small knocks from normal use.
