Pair of antique chased silver fibulae from Djerba, Tunisia | Khlal

Beautiful pair of antique crescent moon-shaped fibulae, in chased silver ending in small faceted masses.

In the center a star flanked by two fish, decorated with birds, flowers, leafy scrolls and geometric friezes.

On the back, the decoration is slightly different with fish at the ends and foliage and a star in the center.

Traces of punch marks at the ends.

Good condition, signs of use and age.

Size: 11.8 x 10.6 cm. Total weight: 106 g.
