Antique hammered copper broth pot circa 1800 – Dinanderie

Antique pear-shaped hammered copper stockpot with its lid and riveted side handles, flat lid with central knob. Circa 1800.

 This piece features old assembly techniques characteristic of the early 19th century,, notably a serrated base fitting, a visible vertical "Y" brazing and old tinning. 

Beautiful old patina, a few very slight traces of use.
