Large antique bronze lamp base.

A true table or desk lamp.

Rich ornamentation: Wave frieze, row of pearls, egg-and-dart molding, capital with cascading draperies. Truncated conical shaft, acanthus leaves, fluted edges and crossed ribbons.

The base is weighted, giving it perfect stability, and can accommodate a large lampshade if needed. The electrical cord is protected by a tube.

Electricity works with these old bakelite components (plug and switch).

Height: 36.5 cm. Base: 11.7 cm. Weight: 2.540 kg.

Very good condition, with antique patina. Note a very slight small dent at the base.
