Antique pill box in solid silver with guilloché enamel.

Minerva 1st grade hallmark and illegible maker's mark.

The guilloché silver lid with a violet-colored enamel center, enhanced by a plain white enamel circle and a frieze of a woman's bust (The Marquise de Sévigné?) decorated with garlands of flowers and lilies. The rim decorated with laurel leaves. The interior in plain vermeil.

The base in silver and plain vermeil decorated on the edge with a frieze of broken rods.

Diameter: 6,5 cm. Height: 1,8 cm. Weight: 56 g.
